Considerations for Yoga practice
Yoga is a journey, not a destination!
Yoga is 100% NON COMPETITIVE
Work to YOUR ability – we are all different, make the class your personal practise
You should not experience any pain, especially in the knee or lower back region – it’s a signal to ease out of the posture
Let me know if you have any new injuries or conditions, or if you become pregnant
Never strain or force yourself (body or breath). Ease back to a comfortable position
However balance progressing and learning your limits
Ideally don’t eat anything substantial during the two hours before class
Always breathe through your nose - unless otherwise stated
Tie in your movement with your breath
Yoga doesn’t always look very dramatic; often the simple practises are very beneficial
Please feel free to ask questions or give feedback
